The practice will provide within core hours, primary medical services required for the management of its registered patients and temporary residents.
The Alliance Teaching Practices services and clinics will be provided to those who are, or believe themselves to be, ill with conditions from which recovery is generally expected, terminally ill or suffering from chronic disease; delivered in the manner determined by the practice in discussion with the patient.
Cervical screening
At the Alliance Teaching Practices we offer cervical screening to all women and anyone with a cervix, aged 25 to 64.

Nurse appointments
Our nurses see patients for the following appointments:
- Dressings
- Childhood immunisations and vaccinations
- Cytology (smears)
- BP checks
- Vitamin B12 injections (the patient will need to bring the injection with them)
Requesting documents from your GP
Patients have a right to request letters from their GP, private letters and reports do not taker priority over NHS work. Please allow up to 28 days for any requests to be fulfilled. We will not accept requests for ‘the doctor must write these exact words’. The GP will write what they know, supported by your medical record. Both the letter and the opinion they produce is final and you cannot request changes to be made.
